After practicing as a dietitian for almost 20 years, Lalitha brings forth a wealth of nutritional knowledge and expertise. Because of her diverse dietetic career, personal experience with managing an auto-immune disease and playing competitive sports, she has the ability to assess a broad range of clientele. Lalitha has counseled clients from across the life span—babies to seniors. Her practice encompasses but not limited to: sports nutrition, vegan and vegetarian nutrition, pre- and post-pregnancy nutrition, eating disorders, high cholesterol, hypertension, diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac, rheumatoid arthritis and much more. Lalitha has seen the transformative power of nutrition. Lalitha also has her 1-year certification in eating disorders/disordered eating. Her hope is to empower clients to have healthy relationships with food in addition to improving the health and quality of their lives. Lalitha provides assessments and plans that are unique and meaningful to each of her clients. Working with Lalitha

Whether you need support with meal planning, sports nutrition, eating disorders or interested in plant-based nutrition—each nutrition session is designed to empower you to make better decisions about your health. Lalitha takes the time to learn about your personal goals, health and lifestyle.

Initial Assessments:

90 minute

Comprehensive Nutrition and Lifestyle Assessment Involves:

  • Determining primary objectives for your session—whether it be for chronic disease management or other health reasons

  • Complete assessment of health history which includes medical and family history, medications, supplements and relevant bloodwork

  • Assessment of food and fluid intake to determine adequacy of macro- and micronutrient intake

  • Assessment of activity—frequency, duration, intensity and training goals (if applicable)

  • Assessment of sleep hygiene, gastrointestinal health, stress/anxiety levels and energy

  • Assessment of relationship with food and body

    Lalitha will provide and create the following:

  • Provision of education throughout the session

  • Customized recommendations, resources and action list based on overall health

  • Provision of energy, macro- and micro-nutrient requirements (if wanting)

  • Suggestions on supplements

  • Provision of recipes and resources

FOLLOW-UP SESSIONS:

  • 60 or 30 minute sessions

  • Review of nutrition goals

  • Creation of meals plans, nutrition support and/or education

  • Collaborative goal setting based on discussion and health priorities

  • Write-up of primary objectives and goals after each session

    $160 (60 minutes)
