Jessica Mantik is a Registered Performance Dietitian at Taylor Nutrition.

Her drive to become a dietitian stemmed from personal trial and error as she navigated the overwhelming world of food to give her an edge in the pool. After discovering what worked for her, Jessica experienced the positive difference that proper nutrition made in her athletics and overall health. Since then, all she has wanted to do is help individuals reach their goals one bite at a time! 

She is an Alumni of the Pandas Varsity Swim Team at the University of Alberta; Jessica represented her school at the national level for 4 consecutive seasons. She knows proper nutrition fuelled her success, even while recovering from an injury. Jessica is excited to share her athletic and nutritional experiences with you.

At university, Jessica was a member of the Golden Bears and Pandas Nutrition Volunteer Program. As a team lead, Jessica oversaw the nutrition education of 11 varsity teams; she created resources and directly provided teams with sports nutrition knowledge. Additionally, Jessica gave multiple nutrition presentations to community sports teams of all ages and generated a snack schedule to promote optimal fueling for the Men’s Canada National Basketball Championships.

While working with the Edmonton Oilers Hockey School, Jessica provided sports nutrition information to young athletes and their parents.
